WHAT IS PRE-K FOR ALL?
Free, high quality preschool
Through Michigan’s PreK for All, every 4-year-old can attend free, high-quality preschool. There’s no tuition — all families are welcome, and families who need it most are prioritized for a spot.
At East Shore, your child explores early reading, math, and science through play, in a safe and nurturing classroom led by caring, state-certified teachers.

Who it’s for
Any Michigan 4-year-old. Your child must turn 4 on or before December 1, 2026.

What it costs
Nothing. GSRP is completely free for every family. Lower income families are prioritized, but family is eligible to apply.

Right here at East Shore, 1403 7th Street, Port Huron. Classes run Monday–Thursday.

Applying is easy — and there’s one more important step.
GSRP enrollment for East Shore is handled through the St. Clair County RESA, not directly by the school. Here’s how to make sure your child is placed with us.

Eligibility and placement are determined by the RESA, with priority given to the families who need it most. Choosing East Shore as your first choice gives your child the best chance of a seat here.

When the application asks for your preferred program, select East Shore first. This is how the RESA knows to place your child with us — if another program is listed first, your child may be placed there instead.
